This Privacy Policy explains how Pahuna Kitchen ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with the pahunakitchen.in website (the "Site"), including when you place an order directly with us. It does not cover the practices of Zomato or Swiggy, which have their own separate privacy policies.

When you place an order directly on this Site, we collect the information necessary to prepare and deliver it, including:

• Your name and phone number, so we and our delivery rider can reach you;
• Your delivery address, to determine your delivery zone;
• Your order details (items, quantities, customisations);
• A payment confirmation reference from Cashfree — we do not receive or store your card number, UPI ID, or netbanking credentials.

3. Information we collect — general site use

If you write to us at hello@pahunakitchen.in, we collect whatever contact details you choose to share. We may also collect basic technical data automatically (browser type, device type, pages visited) through standard web analytics.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to prepare, pack, and deliver your order; contact you about your order status if needed; respond to your questions or feedback; understand overall Site usage; and meet legal and food-safety recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

5. Cashfree & payment data

Payments on this Site are processed by Cashfree, an independent third-party payment gateway. When you pay, your card, UPI, or netbanking details are entered directly into Cashfree's secure interface and governed by Cashfree's own privacy policy — we never see or store this information. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference.

6. Zomato & Swiggy

When you order through Zomato or Swiggy instead, any personal data you provide there is collected and processed under that platform's own privacy policy, not this one.

7. Sharing of information

We share your order and delivery information only with the people directly involved in fulfilling it — our kitchen staff and any delivery rider. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any information we hold, and we rely on Cashfree's PCI-compliant infrastructure for all payment data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion of information you've shared with us directly, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations. We cannot action requests relating to data held by Zomato, Swiggy, or Cashfree — those go to the relevant company.
